To harmonize the dog and handler relationship by teaching communication that is mutually understood.
Kaizen is an Eastern way of life based on the constant improvement of one’s craft. Kaizen Canine roots back to the moment founder Taijon decided to rescue his Australian Cattle Dog years ago. This rescue experience triggered a passion in Taijon to constantly improve his bond and communication with animals.
Taijon has apprenticed for several years under some of the most highly respected US trainers in the dog training profession. Kaizen Canine has practiced over 1000 hours of training, developing a training style focused on applying Operant and Classical Conditioning to provide personalized canine solutions.
Taijon trains professional dog trainers, hosts seminars, and frequently volunteers at local dog shelters. Forever a student, Taijon takes pride in constantly educating himself on the latest breakthroughs in dog psychology and obedience.
In 2021, Taijon completed a 200 hour mentorship course with Garret Wing, owner and founder of American Standard K-9 in South Florida. Garret is a Police K-9 Handler who helps civilians build reliable companions. With over 20 years of Police K-9 work and 5+ years of pet owner work, he is an excellent mentor. Taijon is the first of many American Standard K-9 graduates.
In 2023 Taijon completed NePoPo New Silver School and got his certification from Michael & Bart Bellon. After getting his Silver School certification Taijon went and completed his NePoPo New Gold certification with Joris Kerchof. Later that summer Taijon decided to learn more and got a second NePoPo New Gold certification from Jaclyn Dagampat & Chris Nguygen.
