6 Reasons Why Kaizen Canine Alumni is
Successful

We are here to change your relationship with your dog but only if you have these characteristics

Take Action

KC alumni know that taking the first step can be uncomfortable, but it's necessary for progress. They understand that staying in one place isn't an option—you're either getting better or falling behind.

Dedicated

They are relentlessly committed to growth with their dog. Once they have mastered  a solid foundation they are always seeking improvement so they can enjoy more memories with their dog.

Accountability

KC Alumni understand that their lack of knowledge and application is the route issue. They understand if their dog starts slacking that they will make adjustments and know how to up their performance. They take complete ownership of their dog and make no excuses about training.

Lifelong Learners

They keep an open mind and are always willing to learn and accept feedback. They know that stepping out of their comfort zone is necessary to achieve their dream dog, and they track their progress to stay motivated.

Strong Communicators

They are open to communicating with their trainers and understand that there are no dumb questions. They tackle tough conversations with us and with family members to ensure nothing stands in the way of progress.

Hungry For Change

Kaizen Canine takes a holistic approach by considering all aspects of a dog's life—nutrition, exercise, mental stimulation, and emotional health

How our dog training works

Book Transformation Session

Book a call or give us a ring to connect with our team and schedule our transformation session for your dog. One of our Communications Specialists will confirm your appointment and give you some homework to prepare for our time together.

Attend Transformation Session

Our first training session is essential for us to learn about the life and relationship you share with your dog. You'll meet our staff, have hands on practice, and discuss training methods that might be right for your dog. This session helps us create a customized training plan and see if we're a good fit to work together long-term. We also provide the option to visit your home depending on your location.

Custom Training Program Recommendation

Based on the consultation, we’ll suggest the best training options for your dog. Whether you choose coaching or our live and train program, we’ll design a personalized training plan focused on your dog’s specific needs and our expert recommendations.

In-Person & Virtual Training

Our programs are available in both virtual and in-person styles to fit your schedule. Each program includes simple and practical homework to help you stay consistent with your dog's training. Remember, consistency is key-just like in fitness, "Use it or lose it!"

Get Ready To Turn Some Heads

It's time to be honest: do you think dog training is just about getting dogs to do things? What is better than a dog that listens? A dog that learns to make the right choice. We’ll never rush you through training sessions here because at Kaizen Canine, it’s about creating lasting change and a better life for both you and your dog.

We get asked a lot of questions, so here are the ones we hear the most.

Where are you based?
We’re based in the North Decatur, GA area.
Do you work with difficult, big, and/or aggressive dogs?
Yes, we have taught committed pet owners how to improve and control aggressive pets. This dog requires a significant lifestyle change, emphasizing the importance of commitment. Often times we limit ourselves to only working with serious, committed owners in these types of situations.
Do I need a Transformation Session?
Yes, our transformation sessions are intended to ensure that our training team has a thorough understanding of your dog in order to put together a training program that will help you reach your goals. You will also walk away with a deeper understanding of dog psychology and behavior.
What should I bring to the transformation session?
Your dog(s), anything you usually bring on a walk. We recommend bring their daily food, treats, and favorite toys.
What training methods do you use?
Our training method is motivation-based. To begin, we usually feed them food rather than treat. We patiently wait for dogs to become motivated before teaching them how to complete tasks freely. When a dog wants to do a task, we will add additional layers of communication, such as a leash or an e-collar, to reinforce performance. If you're nervous about using tools, don't worry, we'll practice on all owners before applying them to your dog.
Still don't see your question?

No problem. Contact us and we'll be happy to answer your questions.
